Keeping your information secure is very important to us at KidsPlaydates. We do not sell or give your personal information to third parties for their marketing or other purposes without your express consent.
Information You Share with Us
Once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us. If you choose to become a Full Member or a Buyer, or Vendor with a Trading Post Membership, we will require that you provide contact information, billing information, identity information, shipping information and other personal information as indicated on the forms on this site. We have indicated which fields are required and which fields are not. You may choose not to provide information that is designated as optional. You may also choose not to provide required information by not becoming a Full Member or a Buyer, or Vendor with a Trading Post Membership. We do not share your personal information with other members. You may choose what information you would like to share with other members. All members are assigned a member ID number to facilitate searches and transactions on the site. Your member ID number will be available to other members on the site searching for playdates and should you choose to buy or sell an item on the site, you will be identified by your member ID number. Please safeguard your member ID number. You are responsible for all actions taken with your member ID number and password. Additionally, we do not share your personal information with other companies not associated with Kidsplaydates LLC.
Use of Shared Information
We use the personal information you provide to facilitate the services you receive on the site. We may disclose billing information to facilitate membership via credit card transactions on this site. Additionally, we may use identity information you provide to facilitate a screening process to which Full Members will be subject. The screening process is necessary to protect members from suspicious individuals and other unwanted behaviors.
Accessing, Reviewing and Changing your Personal Information
You may choose to review and change the information you submit to us at any time by logging into the site and entering the new information yourself. You are responsible for modifying and updating your information. Upon your request we will deactivate your account.
Reservation of Rights
We reserve the right to deny membership to anyone based upon the screening process or for violating the Member, Buyer, Vendor Agreement. Further, we may disclose your name, street address, city, state and zipcode, telephone, email and company information to law enforcement, at our discretion, if necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement or other unlawful activity.
We do not promise that your personal information will never be disclosed in ways not set forth in this privacy policy. For example, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transactions or private communications, misuse or abuse your personal information. We will make every effort to ensure that our site is free from unlawful activity.
